First things first, please enter the relevant information listed below after you have downloaded the app from the App Store.
Step 1: Personal Details (email, phone number, date of birth and gender)
Step 2: Connect Instagram Professional Account (Business/Creator) – please make sure a Facebook page is connected to your Instagram account
Step 3: Agency Details. Add the agency or multiple agencies that you belong to
Once submitted, we’ll be in touch as soon as the Talent Team have reviewed your profile.
BIO AND PORTFOLIO
At this stage please enter a bio, that we can give to clients, so they have a better idea about you, by highlighting your interests, passion points and skills.
The profiles that have completed bios have a higher chance of getting approved by clients, because it helps make you stand out from the crowd.
In addition to this, your agency may upload some portfolio shots on your behalf, but you can also do this if you have preferred photographs.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A CAMPAIGN
Once a campaign goes live, you can either be put forward for a brief by your agency or you can suggest yourself- as long as you match the requirements of the brand.
Please note that a client won’t accept every profile, so don’t be disheartened as there will be other briefs that may suit you better.
However, if you are chosen, congratulations! You will now be invited to submit co-created content that aligns with the brief criteria on the app.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CONTENT
1.Press the + icon on the campaign if chosen for shortlisting or if available
2.Choose type of content post, story, image
3.Choose item from library
4.Enter caption and tap the mandatory tags and handles and submit
5.Once content is approved you will get a notification
HOW TO PUBLISH APPROVED CONTENT
1. Now that your content has been approved, go to your content library and select the post which has been approved.
2.Follow the steps to publish the piece of content – for posts the copy to Instagram option auto copies the caption and sends the content to Instagram.
3.Paste the caption without altering and publish on Instagram – you are no longer able to change the caption, because it has been verified by the client.
4.Payment will be released to either to yourselves or your agency, so please speak with your agency if you need to clarify these terms.
( If you are sharing an Instagram Story, you might have an additional step of sharing the swipe up link which can be done once the content and caption has been pasted.
All you need to do is then return to the Talent Village app and copy the link provided by the client and add that to the story before publishing. )
HOW TO CLAIM A PERK
1.Discover the array of offers available, remember these are all bespoke to your profile – based on your audience analytics and interests.
2.Check the terms and conditions, sometime you may need to book in advance so please carefully read these terms ahead of time.
3.Visit the venue and present your perk to the staff, who will be aware of this process.
4.Share a story on your instagram in return for your perk, remember to tag them and use any relevant hashtags.
We have a strict strike policy and will suspend your profile access if you are in validation of these terms.
