Talent Village is looking for an experienced Talent Director to join our London team. This role will initially require remote work, with plans to move back to the London office end of 2021. The Talent Director will have a key role in the operation of the business and will need to demonstrate a high level of responsibility and organisation. The Talent Director will be an important internal team, Talent and Talent Agency contact as they respond to new casting briefs and support with the delivery of campaigns ensuring all objectives are met. In addition to having excellent casting skills, the Talent Director also needs to be confident in crafting casting strategies and collaborating to create creative campaign ideas. Production experience is also beneficial because we co-create all content with the talent. The Talent Director will have experience in the creative sector with a background in talent management and social media. The ideal candidate will be excited by the social talent industry, understanding how it has evolved and is always ahead of industry trends. This role also requires a candidate with excellent negotiation skills and confidence when working in a fast paced environment, under strict campaign deadlines.



  • Use strategic thinking to craft casting strategies that inform proposals and winning pitches
  • Manage the casting, contracting and execution of campaigns, ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality in relation to the talent relationships, creative (production) and performance (results)
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with the Talent, Talent Agents and internal teams at Talent Village
  • Curate personalised casting briefs for Talent Agencies which relay the strategic approach and any further mandatories, e.g. aesthetic, statistical and brand requirements
  • Collaborate with the Client Services team to ensure that all casting meets the brief and the Tech Team to proactively improve the platform so it facilitates the Talents’ / Agents’ needs
  • Ensuring all Agents and Talents have the best possible experience when working with Talent Village, while ensuring all Client requirements are met ● Have financial accountability for all castings, with strong negotiation skills
  • Collaborate with the Client Services team when planning for shoots – Supporting with sourcing photographers, hair stylists / MUAs, venues. Then attend shoots to represent the company, support the talent and ensure that the shoot is executed to the highest standard
  • Contribute to internal creative reviews when content is shared after the shoot. Ensure that the talent is aligned with the content selected and oversee their approvals process
  • Support more junior team members by providing guidance and giving advice



  • Degree level educated
  • A minimum of 6 years related experience in the talent industry
  • A passion and knowledge of the social media industry
  • Excellent presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong leader and savvy negotiator
  • The ability to work independently, pro-actively seek assignments, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly organised and able to work under pressure
  • A good eye for great content that is also commercially suitable
  • Good comprehension of the digital advertising landscape
  • An entrepreneurial and positive spirit, team player, good communicator and driven outlook
